Бойко Борисов проведе телефонни разговори с канцлера Ангела Меркел, с Виктор Орбан и с Александър Вучич.
Премиерът Борисов и канцлерът на Германия Ангела Меркел обсъдиха подготовката на срещата на държавните и правителствените ръководители на държавите-членки в Братислава на 16 септември. Основна тема на предстоящия форум ще бъде мигрантската криза в Европа и необходимостта от намиране на единно европейско решение, съобщи правителствената информационна служба.
ЕС и Турция трябва взаимно да решат проблемите си и всички държави солидарно да положат усилия за изпълнение на постигнатите до момента договорености и поети ангажименти, подчерт по време на разговора си с канцлера премиерът Борисов.
Във връзка със срещата на върха в Братислава премиерът Борисов и премиерът на Унгария Виктор Орбан се обединиха около мнението, че в словашката столица трябва да се проведат важни дискусии за състоянието на ЕС, на фона на излизането на Великобритания от съюза, както и все по-засилващата се миграционна вълна.
Борисов потвърди тезата си, че ще настоява за общоевропейско решение и проява на истинска солидарност между държавите в Европа за разрешаването на проблема с мигрантската вълна и адекватна защита на външните европейски граници.
По покана на Борисов Виктор Орбан пристига на официално посещение в България на 13 и 14 септември. Двамата премиери ще направят обход на част от преградното съоръжение на българско-турската граница.
Мигрантската криза бе основен акцент и в разговора на министър-председателя със сръбския му колега Александър Вучич. Двамата бяха единодушни, за необходимостта от увеличаване на двустранните комуникации и сътрудничество за запазване на сигурността и спокойствието на гражданите в двете държави.
По време на разговора двамата обсъдиха и възможности за двустранното сътрудничество в областта на енергетиката и изграждането на интерконекторна (газова) връзка между Сърбия и България.
