Лидерите на Русия, Иран и Азербайджан ще се срещнат днес в Баку, за да вземат решение за проекта „Север – Юг“.
По думите на представител на азербайджанския президент, цитирани от агенция ТАСС, това ще бъде „новият Път на коприната – най-краткият, рационален и удобен път за търговците между Южна Азия и Западна Европа“.
Проектът за железопътна магистрала между иранския град Рещ и азербайджанския Астара датира още от 2008 година.
В разговорите си днес Владимир Путин, Хасан Рохани и Илхам Алиев ще обсъдят и възможности за съвместна експлоатация на газовите залежи на Каспийско море.
