В понеделник турският вестник “Аксам” публикува на първата си страница статия със заглавие Heil Merkel и снимка на германския канцлер Ангела Меркел с мустака на някогашния фюрер на Третия райх Адолф Хитлер. Ръката й пък е вдигната в нацистки поздрав.
Според сп. “Шпигел” вестникът е сред проправителствените медии в Турция.
Според анализаторите реакцията е срещу забраната по време на митинг в негова подкрепа в Кьолн да бъде излъчено обръщение на турския президент Реджеп Ердоган.
Други турски медии също силно критикуваха решението на Берлин, като едно от заглавията гласи, че “Германия не е приятел, а враг”.
В друг материал по темата се казва, че “Германия, за която се предполагаше, че се е отървала от нацисткото си минало, най-накрая свали маската и подкрепи метежниците на Фетхуллах Гюлен”.
