Унгарски депутати предложиха 19 октомври да бъде обявен за ден на българско-унгарската дружба. Председателят на унгарския парламент Стефан Варга, както и депутати от „ФИДЕС“, „ЙОББИК“ и Унгарската социалистическа партия предложиха 19 октомври да бъде обявен за ден на българско-унгарската дружба и декларация за това да бъде изпратена на българския парламент, предаде WebRadio.hu, цитирано от „Фокус“.
В декларацията се предлага на българското Народно събрание също да обяви датата на ден на българско-унгарската дружба за страната си.
„Целта ще са приятелските отношения между двете държави, задълбочаването на изграждащите се българско-унгарски християнски връзки“, пише в обяснителния меморандум.
Датата е избрана, заради това, че тогава е и празникът на светеца-покровител на България – св. Иван Рилски./ Дир
