Автомобилният гигант „Мерцедес” ще произведе 130 броя от специален лимитиран модел по случай 130-тата годишнина на компанията.
Новият „Mercedes-AMG S63 4Matic Cabriolet “Edition 130” беше показан на Северноамериканското международно автошоу в Детройт. Идеята му е да почете историята и наследството на компанията, както и репутацията й на създаване на превъзходни автомобили. „Мерцедес” води началото си от 1885г., когато основателят Карл Бенц конструира първото превозно средство на марката – триколка с двигател с вътрешно горене. Година по-късно Готлиб Даймлер представя свой бензинов автомобил с четири колела.
През 1926г. бизнесите на двамата германски разработчици се обединяват в „Даймлер-Бенц”, предшественикът на „Мерцедес-Бенц”. „Първите автомобили на Карл Бенц и Готлиб Даймлер са отворени. Сегашният юбилеен модел „Мерцедес-AMG” отдава почит на този факт, като ексклузивният кабриолет демонстрира прогреса на автомобилната индустрия през последните 130 години”, заяви Тобиас Моерс, ръководител на борда на директорите на „Мерцедес-AMG”.
Лимитираната серия е решена в специална сребърна боя в чест на състезателното наследство на марката. Сгъваемият покрив е червен, като това е единственият такъв кабриолет на „Мерцедес”. Седалките са от специална черна и черна кожа. Инкрустираният волан и специален плакет на таблото показват, че колата е от специалната серия и кой точно от уникалните 130 екземпляра е. За да се подчертае допълнително ексклузивният характер, всеки брой ще идва със специално ушито покривало, уникален ключ и алуминиева кутия за него.
Под капака се крие 5,5 литров, осем цилиндров двигател, с би-турбо и мощност от 577 конски сили. Колата развива 100 км/ч за 3,8 секунди. /БГНЕС
